Where Am I?

This week was filled with work, weightlifting, and not much else.

As far as my business venture was concerned, this was a week for treading water. Not much progress was made on any front and that has me a bit disappointed.

It probably has something to do with that little creature that dwells inside me called Impatience.

I'm ready for things to get jumping, but I have to constantly remind myself that it takes times. I have to remember that I'm creating a foundation that will allow me to build upward something that lasts and withstands the dynamics of the business environment.

Still ... I don't like to feel unproductive, especially in regards to starting a business.

Unfortunately, my mind thought otherwise and redirected my energy towards the gym. And I hit the gym with everything I had last week.

I just can't help feeling I've hit a wall.

Venturing into the unknown with only your book smarts to guide you can only take you so far. Then again, it couldn't be the non-linear approach that I'm taking that may have something to do with my stagnancy.

Me thinks it's time to review the approach from the beginning. Time to break out the ol' business plan and fill in some holes.

This funk shall not last longer than a week.

Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year!!!

Sure, I took some time away from this blog, but not from its focus. I'm still working to get mu business going.

There's now a Twitter account (@EquitableBook) and the blog is coming along nicely. Check it out here:

Equitable Bookkeeping Blog

I feel like I'm building a good foundation for the long haul. I've been reading more, became a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB), and picked the brains of some entrepreneurial friends. I must say, I like the direction things are going.

With the new year, it's high time to ramp things up a bit and really get the word out about Equitable Bookkeeping. I'm ready to see how high I can fly.

I hope you're ready too.

Thank you for your support.
